⚡ SPARKY WEEKLY — WEEK 22

Another week of building. The website continued expanding into the central home for the JoshTheSparky network, Brainbusters got a major revamp, and the first long-form Brainbuster study session was taken live on TikTok. Continued deep-diving into the 2026 NEC, working through Chapter 1 and the 120-series load calculation material, while continuing Bay Path and the 2023 NEC education. Another 2026 NEC Question of the Week went up through the FastTrax System community.

One of the biggest changes this week was realizing that studying and content creation do not always have to be separate. A roughly 2½-hour Brainbuster Live session became a study session, live broadcast, and five approximately 30-minute YouTube episodes. The goal going forward is to get more useful content out of the work already being done instead of constantly creating something from scratch.

🧠 Brainbuster Revamp & Live Study — Continued rebuilding Brainbusters into a larger study system, including website resources, explanations, Code references, live breakdowns, and long-form video.

📖 2026 NEC Deep Dive — Continued studying the organization of the Code, Chapter 1, and the 120-series load calculation material while comparing familiarity between the 2023 and 2026 editions.

⚡ Question of the Week — Another 2026 NEC dwelling-unit load calculation through the FastTrax System community, working through the optional calculation method and showing the work.

🌐 Website Build — Continued developing Network, Community, Featured, Radio, Broadcast, Webinars, Newsletter, Reviews, Tutorials, Brainbusters, Shop, policies, and other sections of JoshTheSparky.com.

📡 NECChat + JoshTheSparky — Continued building the relationship between NECChat as the community/discussion side and JoshTheSparky as the broader educational, media, and career platform.

🎙️ The Young Electrician Podcast — Approximately one-hour conversation completed covering my time in the trade, what I'm learning, who I am, and what I'm trying to build. Expected September release.

🎓 Education & Career — Bay Path Module 5 is underway, continued advanced algebra and math study, 215+ commercial hours banked, and the search for the next opportunity continues.

Daily Foundation

The goal is starting to become bigger than simply making another post. Build something useful. Learn the trade. Study the Code. Build the network. Put other people on. Take care of yourself. Keep track of your hours. Confirm everything yourself.

One question can become a Brainbuster, a live study session, a YouTube video, and eventually a permanent website resource. One conversation can introduce people to the person behind the content. NECChat can create discussion. JoshTheSparky.com can bring the different pieces together.

I'm also starting to realize that the three-post system did its job. It helped build the library and taught consistency, but eventually I want to move toward fewer, stronger pieces that combine Code, theory, and questions instead of splitting one subject into multiple posts just to fill the schedule.
