Hook: OCPDs need to be boxed up and safely disconnectable — here's the enclosure and guarding rules that close out that section.
Slide 2: OCPDs need physical protection — either mounted in an enclosure/cabinet/cutout box, or mounted on an open-type board in a dry, ignitible-material-free room accessible only to qualified people. The breaker handle itself can be accessible without opening a door. Damp/wet-location enclosures follow 312.4, and OCPD enclosures generally mount vertically (with exceptions for horizontally-oriented breakers per 240.81 and busway plug-ins matching the busway orientation).
Slide 3: Cartridge fuses (any voltage) and all fuses over 150V to ground need a supply-side disconnecting means so the circuit can be isolated independently — cable limiters ahead of a service disconnect and certain motor/heating group-operation setups are exceptions. Fuses and breakers need to be positioned or shielded so operation won't burn or injure someone, and any suddenly-moving handles or levers need guarding or isolation from bystanders.
Quiz: Do all fuses require a supply-side disconnecting means, or only some?
Answer: Cartridge fuses at any voltage, and all fuses over 150V to ground, require one.
